This week the players finish creating their character backstories for the new marine-themed roleplaying game “Descent into Midnight”. Richard Kreutz-Landry, one the designers of the game, guides the players as they work out their character histories and inter-relationships, and as they design their great nemesis: “the corruption”. Double agent alien-hybrid goblin sharks, saving the last vaquitas, interdimensional submarines, psychic sanctuaries, the angler fish inquisition, heresy and death by decompression are all components of the amazing undersea world on an alien planet that the players create.
*Spoilers*: this is one of the best roleplaying games ever!
